I specialize in newborn baby photography, as well as also offering great fun sessions such as a first birthday cake smash and paint splash sessions.
I am also a fully qualified paediatric first aider as well as being DBS checked, rest assured your little one is in safe hands.
Being a mum of 2 myself, I know first hand that these first few magical weeks of your newborn baby will fade so quickly, not capturing these precious moments is almost a sin in itself.

Every newborn baby photo session includes
Your bundle of joy will have 2-3hrs+ in the photo studio, All backgrounds, wraps, bonnets, caps and other props and accessories are all included to create the best photos. I will even create beautiful floor displays to create something a little special for your perfect baby.
I often go through 3-4 different sets of colours to provide a nice range of images for you. Photos of Mum and Dad are also taken if required. Within 3-4 days you will receive all your images, they will be presented in an online private gallery which will contain typically between 40-80 photos, though do not be surprised if you get 80+ You will then be able to download (at no extra charge) all your beautiful photos and even share them with friends and family.
All photos will be in full file resolution and logo free so you can make your own prints or even large canvases. Basically do with them as you please, they are ALL yours. If you do not like the idea of creating your own prints or wall art, then you can also order them through myself.
If you would like a hard copy of your digital images presented on a love heart keep sake USB then you can add this on at the checkout for £30 or even just buy one from the studio while you are there.
Free parking is also made available to you.

When is the best time for newborn baby photos?
The younger the better, If you are well following the birth of your precious bundle of joy and can manage it, then 5-7 days old is that magic age for newborns. Most of the images on this page were when babies are between this age. The cutest of images can still be obtained even when baby is 3 weeks old, we may just need more patience as babies muscles will now be strong, not all poses will be possible.
If you are expecting, then you can book your newborn session at any time, look at the booking calendar and look for your due by date, add on 5-7 days. When you book your preferred date and time, You will also be given a reschedule link, just in case the baby arrives early or late for that matter, you can simply reschedule your newborn baby photo shoot up to 48hrs before the date of the session.
I have a huge range of backgrounds, props, baby wraps, headbands, and other accessories that will be used to create memories of a lifetime. Your newborn photo session will be booked for 2-3hrs, the photo session will not be rushed, patience always wins. If we need that little more time in order to get the perfect shots then extra time is added at no extra cost. There will always be plenty of time for feeding and changing. Do not worry if you think this is a long time for your newborn baby, It is important they are fully relaxed and the cutest of images are always when they are sleeping and relaxed.

Yes you will have ample FREE parking available which is only 30 seconds from the studio

HOW MANY IMAGES WILL I RECEIVE ?
Your gallery will contain at least 40 images, The average is anything between 40-80 images depending upon baby of course, you will then be able to download your photos.
HOW LONG WILL THE SESSION LAST?
You will have 2-3hrs booked in the studio, sometimes, we do not need all this time and sometimes this may run slightly over. every baby is different and it is important for your baby to be settled to create the best images, please do not expect this to be a quick rushed session.
The photo session will not be rushed, patience always wins. If we need that little more time in order to get the perfect shots then extra time is added at no extra cost. There will always be plenty of time for feeding and changing. Do not worry if you think this is a long time for your newborn baby, It is important they are fully relaxed and the cutest of images are always when they are sleeping and relaxed.
DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING?
All you need to bring are nappies and baby feed, We have had babies who have had to be changed up to 5 times! and fed 2-3 times so please bring plenty of nappies and feed.
Please consider bringing a baby soother (Dummy) even though you may not like your baby to have one it will help during the session, trust me..
In the studio, we have plenty of backdrops, baby wraps, headbands, and props which we shall use to create the best images, so you do not need to bring anything else.
WILL MY BABY BE POSED NAKED?
Your baby will have their nappy on throughout the session, They will then be swaddled and wrapped.
Towards the end of the session, I may achieve a bum in air shot or one of you holding baby naked.
Special care will be taken to make sure no private parts are exposed.
If you rather not have these shots then just say.
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN ATTEND?
I am glad you asked, believe it or not, I have had whole families turn up including parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts and uncles. Needless to say they was turned away. Please remember this is a newborn baby photo session, not a family photo session. Of course, we expect babies' parents to be present and up to 2 siblings are also welcome. You can also all have photos taken with your bundle of joy, However some sessions can run as long as 3hrs, please ask yourself will babies siblings be able to sit quietly and sit still for up to 3hrs? Perfect baby moments is not responsible for the lack of images due to disruption in the studio preventing baby from settling.
Someone else will be driving us, is this ok?
Of course, they can also sit with you during babies photo session. However, please do not bring Grandma, granddad, Aunt betty, Uncle Tom and Great Grandma. They will be sadly turned away.
Breast feeding !
We all know breast is best, however sometimes we have no idea how much milk baby has actually had. Breast fed babies take much much longer to settle, mainly because they are not getting the amount they want or it is not filling them up.
If your expressing your milk, then please bring expressed milk so baby can be sure to have a good feed. Alternative, if your using formula as a backup then please bring some formula also.
Of course, this is only a recommendation based on my vast experience of settling and photographing babies.
Can we bring our dog along?
Sadly we can not allow pets in the studio, As much as we would love you to bring your dog along, the studio has to be free from pet hair to prevent or babies and children from any pet allergies.

The photo studio actually belongs to my husband, John Price Photography, an award-winning photographer.
Although the studio belongs to John, I like to call the studio mine, I seemed to have just taken over with all my baby props and wraps :)
The photo studio will be warm and ready to welcome you and your newborn baby. Baby changing facilities are also available for you to use, The sofa is yours to relax on and refreshments are on hand. Baby white noise will be played throughout the session to help your baby relax, so you can relax while I work my magic. In fact, the baby white noise will probably send you to sleep also.
